We at Medicine Hat Public Library worked hard in 2023 to create
a home-away-from-home for teens at the library. That goal was officially met in
September with the grand opening of The Honeycomb House, a space dedicated to teens
ages 13-19 that offers video games, computers, study space, a cozy reading nook
and snacks.
The fine people at King & Knowlton Orthodontics are used
to producing smiles, and they created many smiles around the library with their

Students in Medicine Hat are riding the road – and the trolley – to reading this spring.Sunrise Rotary Ride the Road to Reading is one of the most popular activities we do at Medicine Hat Public Library each year. For the past few weeks, Grade 4 students in the city have visited the library to learn about the programs and services we offer. In past years, library staff would go to schools to speak to classes and then hope that they and their caregivers would come to us.
