Did you know? Dragons love tacos!

This month at MHPL we're celebrating our taco-loving dragon friends with a Book Club In A Bag for ages 6 - 9. This Book Club Kit includes a recording of me (Karla) reading 'Dragons Love Tacos' by Adam Rubin and the materials you need to create a fun taco-inspired craft. You might also find a few other surprises hidden in the bag. 

Pick-up your Book Club In A Bag this week so that you have something to do with your little ones on PD Day this Friday. Hurry in because these are only available while supplies last.

Big Truck Day 2026 Is Rolling To Co-op Place For Bigger Fun

There are fewer than three weeks to go until our second Big Truck Day and things are looking good for our goal of making it bigger and better than the first.At last year’s event we received an overwhelming response and lots of feedback on different and additional vehicles people wanted to see. Community businesses and organizations were also eager to bring their vehicles to the next Big Truck Day. We set out to make those things happen, and the first step was to find a bigger venue.
