UPDATE: Tickets will go on sale Monday, May 5. Details here.

Medicine Hat Public Library is excited to present Séan McCann, a founder of the iconic Canadian band Great Big Sea, is bringing his next tour to the library theatre.

McCann will perform at Medicine Hat Public Library on Saturday, May 31, at 7 p.m. on his Great Big Canadian Road Trip Tour!

Full ticket details are still being worked out but for now we can share they will be on sale in early May and only available in-person at the library. Keep an eye on our socials for more details.

McCann is embarking on this tour in response to what he calls the "very unnecessary woe and worry" coming north in recent months from the U.S.

"I’m setting out on a journey—not just across CANADA, but into the heart of what it means to be human," he says on his website.

He goes on to say the tour is a celebration of small towns and real connection, and that his songs will be a "bridge between strangers and a reminder that no matter how hard the road gets, we are never truly walking it alone as long as we have a SONG to sing TOGETHER."
