Job Hunting And Halloween Fun In The Honeycomb House For October

Teen librarian Stephanie Kuhn discusses just a little of what's going on for teens at the library
Posted on 29 September 2025 by Chris Brown.

Things never seem to stop at the Honeycomb House, and October will be no different.

It starts on Oct. 1 with the first of two Adulting 101 sessions. This first one will focus on helping teens write resumes, which will hopefully lead to a job interview. Naturally, the second session will go over interview skills so they can knock that out of the park and land the job.

Both sessions Adulting 101: Resumes (Oct. 1, 4 p.m.) and Adulting 101: Interview Skills (Oct. 15, 4 p.m.) will be led by industry experts. No registration is required for the sessions, which are presented in partnership with the local Y Employment Centre.

There are also two teen nights planned for the spooky season.

On Oct. 10 it's TIC TAC Presents: Spoopy (cute and spooky) Movies, followed by TIC TAC Presents: Halloween Pre-Party on Oct. 24. Teen librarian Stephanie Kuhn has the details in the video below from Rogers TV.
