New Library Card Sponsor: Real Estate Collective Real Broker

We’re feeling the love this month, and not just because of Valentine’s Day.

Elizabeth McNally and the team at Real Estate Collective Real Broker are celebrating Library Lovers Month by once again sponsoring library cards at Medicine Hat Public Library and helping keep cards free for the community.

The donation of $2,300 means FREE library cards for 460 adults in Medicine Hat (kids’ cards are always free).

McNally describes herself and her team as “super passionate about the library.”

“I think it’s such a foundational piece of what the city has to offer. I mean, there’s so many services there. We’ve got things for children, adults, teens, it’s amazing. And it’s not just about the books,” she says.

As a realtor, McNally is often an early – if not the first – point of contact for people moving to the city. The library is one of the things she tells them about.

“I love being able to show people that are coming to the community what an amazing facility it is. Anybody who’s new can meet new people, they can take their kids down to the library, there’s that play area,” she says. “I think there’s just so many good things.”

McNally – whose Real Estate Collective Real Broker also supports the Medicine Hat Skateboard Association, Rise Up Hot Air Balloon Festival and a host of other community causes – adds she’d love to see other businesses and group in the community support our A Library Card for Every Hatter campaign, also known as #MHPLforYXH.
