Welcome to the Medicine Hat Public Library
The library has two meeting rooms and a theatre available to rent at reasonable rates. Both rooms and the theatre are located on the lower level of the library, and all are fully accessible with internet connectivity. Please note: The Co-op Community Developmental Play Space is not available to rent for private functions.

The Honor Currie Room, Legion Room and Library Theatre are available to rent Monday evenings. The rest of the library will be closed on Monday evenings, as per our current hours.
The spaces are available in three different times slots: 5:30-6:30 p.m., 6:45-7:45 p.m. and 5:30-7:45 p.m.
Bookings for September through Dec. 16 are currently being accepted. Up to one Monday night meeting a month can be booked by each renter.
Construction of the Honor Currie Room was made possible through the generous assistance of the Medicine Hat Rotary Club in recognition of Medicine Hat pioneer, Honor Currie.

The Theatre has a fixed seating capacity of 152 people and is handicapped accessible, including space for wheelchairs. Please note: Only water and pre-approved foods are allowed in the Theatre.

The library rents the following equipment to groups using our meeting rooms or threatre (for in-house use only).
