The Medicine Hat Public Library is pleased to serve the community by providing access to a Social Worker on staff.

Our Social Worker in the Library provides one-on-one advising on topics such as:

  • Government Programs
  • Referrals for Housing, Community Programs, Substance Abuse supports, Mental Health supports, Family Supports, and others
  • Employment Supports (Resume Help, Accessing Computers & Job Boards, etc)
  • Local Community Resource Navigation
  • Other related topics as needed/identified
